Become a CLII Fellow

Our members (referred to as Fellows) are Illinois attorneys, coaches, child specialists, and financial advisors who believe in the Collaborative Law approach. All members are committed to the CLII Principles and Guidelines.

Members in the Institute (CLII) are referred to as Fellows. If you are interested in becoming a CLII Fellow, please review the requirements below:

  • Hold a commitment to the principles and guidelines of the CLII process.
  • Agree to maintain the ethical standards of CLII (based on those of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals)
  • Maintain professional credentials and be a member in good standing of your profession as an attorney, mental health or financial professional
  • Maintain current professional liability/malpractice insurance coverage
  • Complete the required educational courses (read the requirements for details)
  • Agree to continue your development as a Collaborative Professional with annual continuing education
  • Maintain membership in the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP)
  • Pay the annual Fellows Membership dues (see membership schedule below for rates)
